Reset: discover our go-to macro trends for SS21

Last season we paused to reflect on the speed at which our lives were evolving. A conscious deceleration as a reflection on our way of living. Reinventing yourself and doing intensive soul searching on the couch was the key message. This Summer, we release this pause button and push on RESET. Let's take action.

Inspo Cottage Core

We are all going through that rat race aka our daily life, but at the same time our live is standing still. With 'Reset' in mind, we emphasize the active changes that are the result from our thoughts, new beliefs. We want to move forward.

This season we focus on four relevant macro trends: circular economy, cottage core, local love and future imperfect. Let's embrace the way our lives are changing, for the better.

Discover the four macro trends here below...

LOCAL LOVE: Belgian design and cuisine need local love, especially in challenging times like these. It has become more important than ever to support our own companies and initiatives.

COTTAGE CORE: The Cottage Core movement's goal is to celebrate a nostalgic, cottage, or farm style vibe around the house and its aesthetic is one that would not have looked out of place at your grandparents home or a 'Little House on the Prairie' rerun.

CIRCULAR ECONOMY: Recycling, repairing, reusing. Making the fashion industry circular is a reality. The goal is to eliminate socio-economic or environmental harm through a circular model.

FUTURE IMPERFECT:  2021 is all about body positivity, letting go of beauty clichés and being perfectly imperfect...
