Summer Games 2021

Live like an athlete

The Games will open on 23 July 2021 in Tokyo and will feature 33 sports, 339 medal events and 42 venues. Two days before the Opening Ceremony, a softball competition will kick off the event in Fukushima, in line with the Games's theme of recovery. As we feel the need to recover as well after a period of several lockdowns, it’s time to shake things up. Let’s work on those health goals and train with the athletes!

Embrace every inch

Yes, bikini season is just around the corner. And yes, we’re eager to get rid of these notorious ‘corona kilos’ we’re carrying. But as summer is making its appearance, so do lots of toxic, airbrushed photos on social media. Let’s be kind to your body, even if it doesn’t work in all the ways you wish it would.

Pretty healthy

Honestly, if we see one more ‘Eat clean, train dirty’ slogan, we’ll scream. It’s all about balance. Now the Games 2021 are starting, the time has come to make some new health goals. Lots of athletes choose a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle. Why not try keto for a change? OKONO provides 100% keto friendly nutrition: vegan, and free from sugar, gluten, lactose and soy. Made for that healthy snack attack.

Let the athletes inspire you to start a brand new, sporty adventure, with the focus on benefits of healthy behaviour. To give you a head start, we've gathered some comfortable and stylish sportswear inspo for your next sporty outfit.

Body neutrality

A couple of years ago, the term ‘body positivity’ took over the internet. But loving your body constantly isn’t realistic. It’s more than okay to land somewhere in between, in a more neutral place. This ‘body neutrality’ movement focuses more on mental health. Just like athletes, it’s all about the right mindset.

During a pregnancy and after giving birth, a woman's body goes through a lot of changes. Cybex designed a sports collection for all those fit mommies and daddies out there who want to exercise with their little bundle of joy.

Every body is beautiful

The goal of any exercise should be about nurturing your physical and mental health rather than having waging wars with your body. Use the athletes’ stamina as a motivation for your own exercise, even if you start with just a 2 km run. Good luck on your journey!

Curated for you: gift guide inspired by the basket trend
One of this year’s sweetest trends? The bur/boo basket. A simple basket with small, thoughtful treats as a reminder that the most meaningful gifts are the personal ones. Inspired by that cosy spirit, our gift guide 2025 celebrates slowing down and surprising someone “just because.” No occasion needed, just a little care. Soft knits, a cozy pyjama set, something sweet to share. Each gift in this edit brings comfort, calm, and connection. Small luxuries that make winter days warmer.
