4 Simple Hacks to Staying Cozy This Fall

As the leaves on the trees change color, it's time to embrace all things cozy. The cool air makes fall the perfect season to slow down and enjoy the little things. Whether you're relaxing at home with a warm drink, taking a walk through the park, or layering up for those chilly mornings, it's all about staying comfy this season. Here are five simple, must-have ways to stay warm, stylish, and cozy as the season settles in.

1. Comfy Loungewear

Is there anything better than coming home after a long day and putting on soft, comfy loungewear? This fall, you can stay warm and comfortable in joggers, oversized hoodies, or a plush robe, perfect for binge-watching your favorite show. Add a warm mug of hot chocolate or tea, and you’ve got everything you need for the ultimate cozy fall evening.

2. Cozy Footwear

Keep your feet warm this fall with footwear that's as comfy as it is practical. There's nothing better than walking around the house in fluffy slippers or sherpa boots. And when you’re heading outside on those chilly days, thick socks are perfect for keeping the cold away. With these cozy options, your feet will stay warm all season, and you might never want to take them off!

3. Spice Things Up with a Cocktail

Who says a cocktail can’t warm you up? With the right mix of flavors, a drink can do more than just refresh. A dash of cinnamon, a hint of nutmeg, or a splash of ginger can turn your favorite drink into the perfect fall warmer. Here’s a simple recipe to get you started!

Double Dutch

Ingredients

  • 50ml Gin (preferably spiced, like Ophir)
  • 150ml Double Dutch Ginger Ale
  • A stick of lemongrass
  • A long slice of fresh ginger
  • A slice of red chili for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pour into an ice filled highball glass: 50ml Gin (preferably spiced, such as Ophir) & 150ml Double Dutch Ginger Ale
  2. Bash a stick of lemongrass and use to stir together, dropping the lemongrass in as a garnish.
  3. Add a long slice of fresh ginger to garnish down the side of the glass, then a thin slice of red chilli on top.

4. Wrap yourself in Warmth

Whether you're going out for a walk in your neighbourhood or just getting a drink at your favorite local coffee spot, staying cozy is key as the weather cools down. Throw on a knit scarf, a beanie, and a long trench coat to stay comfortable while keeping your style on point. And don’t forget those comfy gloves to keep your hands warm!
