The gift that keeps on giving

Spring is near: celebrate Mother Earth with brands that are giving back to nature

Nature is the gift that keeps on giving. Mother Earth encourages us to learn, to grow and to explore, providing a home for all. Today, brands are increasingly aware that we need to protect and care for our planet in the same way it cares for us. With spring just around the corner, we've put some of our inspirational brands in the spotlight.

Giving back by recycling

  • River Cleanup

What started with a 10-minute cleanup in 2017 grew into an international organisation with 144,000 volunteers active in 57 countries. River Cleanup connects people, businesses and governments to create involvement and commitment to work together for a clean environment. The use of smart technology ensures the efficient tackling of the 8 billion kg of plastic that ends up in our oceans every year.

  • Freedom Moses

Freedom Moses’ comfy slides are 100% vegan and cruelty free. The organisation is constantly evolving to create a fully sustainable product. The slides are made from PCU, so when it’s time to say goodbye, they can be recycled at designated recycling facilities.

To become a more sustainable brand, Freedom Moses has partnered up with the National Plastics & Rubber Center. They conduct research into environmentally friendly raw materials and invest in research to find the right balance between polymers and plant-based materials. Another partner is One Tree Planted, to do their small part in advancing the global reforestation efforts.
