Milan Fashion Week trends we're already obsessed with

Fashion Week season is wrapping up, and after glimpsing the FW25 trends, we’re almost looking forward to colder days (well, not really, but still). Milan’s runways seamlessly blended elegance with bold experimentation, delivering some of the season’s most exciting moments. Below, discover MMBSY’s favourite trends from Milan Fashion Week—styles you can start incorporating into your wardrobe today.

Flowy boho silhouettes

The boho-chic trend, officially revived by Chemena Kamali at Chloé, continues to dominate the fashion world. While flowy, layered boho items are typically associated with spring, major brands like Blumarine, Etro, Alberta Ferretti, and Roberto Cavalli are fully embracing them for fall 2025. Just add long sleeves, tights, and knee-high boots, and you’re ready for the season.

Nature & animal prints

Animal prints ruled the runways. Marni embraced the theme with tulip-covered coats and bird-of-prey motifs, while Roberto Cavalli went bold with tiger prints on blazers, coats, and deep red jackets. His collection paid homage to nature with plant-printed suits and snakeskin gloves. At Tod’s, Matteo Tamburini used earthy tones—forest green, gray, and mustard yellow—while even the iconic Tod’s loafer got an animal-print update.

Pastel pops

Many designers opted to break up fall’s traditionally dark color palette with subtle pastel accents. Fendi and Gucci played with soft yellow hues, while N°21 and MSGM introduced lilac. Prada and Twinset embraced pink, while Sunnei and Bally showcased baby blue.

Big fat belts

Statement accessories are still going strong. After the resurgence of bold necklaces, designers are now turning their attention to the waist. Exaggerated, oversized, hip-hugging belts were a staple of the Fall/Winter 2025 collections, with corset-style belts making a striking appearance at Bally and Giorgio Armani. At Blumarine, large, embellished buckles added a bold edge to ethereal sheer ensembles.

Scarves

Accessories took center stage this season, especially scarves, stoles, and hats in bold colors and luxurious fabrics. One of the biggest trends is covering your neck—whether that’s through a funnel-neck coat, a scarf coat, or a silk scarf.
