Bingeworthy fashion: The Bold Type

Call it a fashion dream or a far reality, but the current millennial show we're hooked on is called "The Bold Type", which is streaming now on Netflix. The amazing everyday looks must be the main reason we watch the show about three women working at Scarlet Magazine, besides the refreshing topics and steaming hot romances. Base your own workplace attire on these fascinating characters, by elevating 'business casual'.

The Bold Type tells the story of three twenty-something girls, Kat, Jane and Sutton, who are bestfriends and all work at Scarlet Magazine in Manhattan. It's as fabulous and unrealistic as it sounds, but we love to hate it and hate to love it. The three main characters face the most challenging adventures, while never losing their sense of style.

Kat Edison - daring and colorful

The most playful character of the leading cast also has the most intriguing style. Kat's style consists of combining strong and neutral pieces with unique on-trend and bold items. Her unique streetstyle is effortlessly cool, without ever looking unprofessional. Never boring, this one.

Jane Sloan - dark and preppy

Jane's style is best to be described as a very feminine goth look. She wears a lot of black but always seems to brighten up her warderobe by wearing big sleeves, special shapes or cute prints. She has this edge to her style, that no one on the show can match.

Sutton Brady - laid-back and on-trend

Sutton succeeds in consistenly looking professional, but also very laid-back. She probably has the most classic feminine style out of the three girls, since she wears more softer hues and seems to avoid any black in her warderobe. She doesn't shy away from a pant suit, and it's what she wears most on the show, in various fabrics and colors.

Like mother, like style: celebrate her in every way
Style isn’t something you’re born with. It’s something you learn, often without realizing it. From her. The way she throws on a trench coat like it’s effortless. How she always seems to choose just the right scarf. Why she consistently goes for quality over quantity. But it also lives in the moments you shared, long walks filled with stories you still remember, spontaneous trips that stayed with you. This Mother’s Day is about that influence. We celebrate the small things she passed on, the details that shaped your taste, your eye, and your way of living.
